Club 10 is looking for an energetic and reliable Water Aerobics Instructor to lead fun, engaging, and safe classes for our members this summer. This is a seasonal, contract-based opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys fitness, working with people, and creating a positive group exercise experience. The ideal instructor will lead hour-long water aerobics classes once or twice per week in the mornings, with a preferred class start time of 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM. This is a great opportunity for a fitness instructor, swim instructor, personal trainer, or experienced group exercise leader looking for a flexible summer role.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead safe, upbeat, and engaging water aerobics classes, provide clear instruction and modifications for different fitness levels, create a welcoming and encouraging class environment, arrive prepared and on time for each scheduled class, promote a positive member experience, and ensure basic safety awareness during each class.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Experience teaching water aerobics, group fitness, swim instruction, or a related fitness class preferred, strong communication and leadership skills, energetic and dependable, comfortable working with participants of varying ages and fitness levels, ability to lead a structured 60-minute class, and CPR/AED certification preferred.
Position Details:
- This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not a full-time or permanent employee position. Classes are expected to run through the end of the summer, with the possibility of one or two classes per week depending on availability and member interest.
