American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a Level III Trauma Center in Gallatin, TN, requiring at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience and a valid TN or compact RN license.

Night shift position on a Med/Surg Telemetry floor (MED/SURG A5), with hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

13-week travel contract with 36 hours per week

Serves a diverse patient population spanning all age groups

Omnicell used for medication dispensing

Meditech EHR
-
Every other weekend requirement, with additional weekend hours as needed

On-call requirement as needed

Floating to similar Med/Surg units as needed

Active RN license valid in Tennessee (TN state license or compact license) required
-
Required certifications (AHA): BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required

IV insertion skills required

SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays

Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate — local candidates are not eligible

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment

All candidates must be cleared through the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start

Any color scrubs are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted

167-bed acute care hospital with Level III Trauma Center designation
