BobaPop Tea Bar is a fast-growing bubble tea franchise with locations across Maryland and Northern Virginia. We're known for our high-quality drinks, vibrant brand, and showing up at pop-ups, corporate events, and community gatherings across the DMV. We're looking for a motivated, people-first Event Manager to help us bring the BobaPop experience beyond our storefronts.
What You'll Do
As our Event Manager, you'll be the face of BobaPop at pop-up markets, corporate catering events, and brand activations. You'll handle logistics from setup to breakdown, ensure every guest interaction reflects our brand standards, and coordinate with our team to keep events running smoothly. When not on event duty, you'll support store operations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Represent BobaPop at pop-up events, catering bookings, and brand activations throughout the DMV area
- Manage event setup and breakdown, including loading, transporting, and assembling equipment
- Operate the boba cart and prepare beverages in accordance with BobaPop's quality and presentation standards
- Engage guests warmly and professionally, creating a memorable brand experience
- Coordinate logistics with the operations team before and after each event
- Assist with in-store operations on an as-needed basis
- Maintain accurate inventory of event supplies and flag any restocking needs
What We're Looking For
- Available consistently on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with flexibility for occasional additional shifts
- Punctual, reliable, and self-directed; you show up on time, prepared, and ready to work
- Personable and professional with strong customer-facing communication skills
- Physically able to carry up to 50 lbs of equipment over short distances
- Valid driver's license with a flawless driving record; you may be transporting equipment to event locations
- Prior experience in events, hospitality, food service, or a customer-facing role preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
