A health services organization in Virginia is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for a Clinical position with at one of their Crisis Receiving Centers.
About the Opportunity:

Shift: Day shift

Setting: 23-hour crisis receiving center/crisis services
Responsibilities:
-
Provide clinical supervision and oversight of RNs and LPNs
-
Ensure appropriate nursing coverage and assist with scheduling
-
Conduct rapid nursing and medical assessments for youth admitted to crisis services
-
Coordinate psychiatric assessments, physician orders, medications, pharmacy needs, and labs
-
Support crisis and safety planning, maintain documentation standards, and respond to medical emergencies as needed
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of relevant Clinical Nursing experience

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
-
Active VA Registered Nurse (RN) license
-
Strong leadership, supervision, critical-thinking, and crisis-intervention skills
Desired Skills:
-
Behavioral Health and/or Crisis experience
-
Knowledge of trauma-informed care and DBHDS/DMAS regulations
