Machine Operator
Location: Eustis, FL
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
Schedule: 2nd and 3rd shifts available (flexibility required)
Position Overview
We are currently hiring Machine Operators to support our manufacturing operations in Eustis. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure products meet quality and efficiency standards.
This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates with prior manufacturing experience who are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and motivated to contribute to a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
- Adjust machine settings (temperature, airflow, etc.) to maintain optimal production performance
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning
- Identify and troubleshoot process issues in collaboration with production and quality teams
- Maintain accurate production records, including machine performance and adjustments
- Follow all company safety policies and participate in required safety training
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience operating industrial manufacturing equipment
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and equipment manuals
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments (food or beverage industry preferred)
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or formal training in machine operation or manufacturing processes
- Experience with troubleshooting and process improvement
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and best practices
- Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment monitoring
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment & Schedule
- Openings available on 2nd and 3rd shift
- Candidates may start on 1st shift and transition to another shift based on business needs
- Overtime may be required
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
