Duties
- Assist with patient intake processes by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately.
- Support physicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies, sterilize equipment, and assist with minor procedures.
- Perform basic life support (BLS), monitor patient vital signs, and respond swiftly to emergency situations.
- Manage medical documentation with precision.
- Facilitate communication between patients and providers by answering questions, scheduling follow-ups, and providing exceptional patient services.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in outpatient clinics or hospital environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to accurately assist with patient care activities.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Excellent patient service skills.
