Position Overview:
We’re seeking a dedicated Rock Star Dishwasher/Cleaner to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is the foundation of a smooth, efficient kitchen, keeping all equipment, utensils, and stations clean and ready for service. You’ll be part of a team that values respect, teamwork, and precision at every level. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service settings and possess a strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards.
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Cleaner to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, cookware, and machinery.
- Maintain cleanliness of all Nuhma FL areas, including kitchen floors, sinks, bathrooms, dry storage, walk-in fridge/freezer, garbage areas, sidewalk entrance, and garage area.
- Hand wash all high-end silverware, bowls, and plates.
- Sweep, mop, remove trash, and leave sinks and dish areas spotless at the end of each shift.
- Take out garbage according to scheduled pickup times.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food prep and kitchen tasks when needed.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and kitchen sanitation.
- Report maintenance or equipment issues promptly and assist in upkeep of kitchen equipment/utilities.
- Follow all safety, cleanliness, and organizational standards.
- Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts.
Qualifications
- Be legally authorized to work in the USA.
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Hardworking, reliable/punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Previous kitchen or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

Pay: $17.00 per hour - we will revisit after 90 day probation period.
