Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and food items, while providing exceptional customer service. You will also help maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all drinks and food are served to high standards.
Pay:
- Earn $17–$20+ per hour, with a combination of hourly pay and tips included in this total.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a range of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and specialty drinks.
- Take customer orders and process payments using a POS system.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations on menu items.
- Prepare and serve food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and baked goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Schedule:
- Required availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Weekly work hours range from 8 to 40 hours.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso-based beverages.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
