Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our organization’s HR team. This role is pivotal in managing a broad spectrum of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance management. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of human capital management and demonstrate strong project management skills to support strategic workforce initiatives. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play an essential role in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving organizational development.
Duties
- Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees to ensure a seamless recruitment experience.
- Administer employee orientation programs to facilitate smooth integration into the organization.
- Conduct employee evaluations and performance management activities to support professional growth and organizational objectives.
- Manage benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Support change management initiatives by developing communication strategies and assisting with organizational design projects.
- Maintain HR systems such as HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms like Oracle HCM or UltiPro for data entry, reporting, and analytics.
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and affirmative action planning requirements.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality while mediating conflicts effectively.
- Assist in HR legal compliance management by updating policies in accordance with evolving regulations.
- Support payroll processing activities through data collection and analysis using Excel or other HRIS tools.
- Contribute to workforce management strategies by participating in succession planning and talent management initiatives.
- Prepare reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates, training progress, and performance evaluations for leadership review.
Experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in human resources department roles with a focus on human resources management and personnel administration.
- Proven expertise in recruiting strategies utilizing ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) such as Lever or other platforms.
- Strong knowledge of employment law in talent management practices and labor law compliance.
- Demonstrated experience with benefits administration, payroll processing, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and report generation.
- Experience managing HR legal compliance issues related to employment practices across diverse jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques and conducting effective interviewing processes.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high standards of communication skills.
- Prior involvement in project management related to training & development programs or organizational change initiatives.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations relevant to workplace health.
