What You'll Do
- Manage and maintain Accounts Receivable for multiple dental practices.
- Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and unpaid patient balances.
- Research and resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies.
- Verify insurance payments and contractual adjustments.
- Work aging reports and identify opportunities to improve collections.
- Communicate professionally with insurance companies and patients when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and account notes.
- Collaborate with our administrative, clinical, and revenue cycle teams.
- Help improve systems and processes to keep AR organized and current.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Dental office experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance, claim processing, and EOBs
- Experience working with Open Dental practice management software
- Understanding of CDT procedure codes and dental terminology
- Experience with Accounts Receivable and insurance aging reports
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
Bonus Qualifications
- Multi-location dental experience
- Knowledge of PPO insurance plans and coordination of benefits
- Experience with insurance appeals and claim resubmissions
- Familiarity with reporting and practice performance metrics
