Job Summary
Manta Splash is seeking reliable, passionate Mobile Swim Instructors to provide private and small group swim lessons for infants, toddlers, children and adults at client pool locations. Lessons focus on water safety, survival skills, confidence-building, and proper swim technique in a positive and supportive environment. This role requires comfort with traveling to multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Travel to client pool locations to teach private and small group swim lessons
- Provide age-appropriate instruction with an emphasis on safety and proper technique
- Create a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain constant supervision
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with children and/or infants
- Strong swimming ability; formal or competitive swim background preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel to multiple client locations
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Patient, energetic, and confident in the water
- Spanish-speaking is a plus, not required
Hiring Process
Selected candidates must complete an in-water skills and teaching evaluation and participate in a brief volunteer or shadowing period prior to onboarding.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $36.00 - $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
