We are currently hiring Production Associates for several manufacturing companies in the Imlay City area. These positions may include assembly, machine operation, material handling, inspection, and general production support. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and willing to learn different areas as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machines and production equipment
- Assemble parts and components according to work instructions
- Inspect products for quality and report defects or issues
- Load and unload materials from machines or workstations
- Package finished products and prepare them for shipment
- Use hand tools, measuring tools, and basic production equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and production standards
- Assist in different departments based on production needs
- Meet daily production and attendance expectations
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or machine operating experience preferred but not always required
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work overtime when needed
