Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Drywall Project Manager specialized in Health Care construction projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex drywall installations within healthcare facilities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. As a key member of our construction management team, you will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results that prioritize safety, compliance, and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee drywall installation projects within healthcare settings, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schematics, and blueprints.
- Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and Project scheduling tools to coordinate timelines effectively.
- Manage project budgets and perform construction estimating to ensure cost control and resource allocation align with project goals.
- Collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project coordination and communication.
- Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance, quality standards, and progress milestones; address issues proactively.
- Review contracts, schematics, blueprints, and civil 3D drawings to ensure accurate execution of work scopes.
- Utilize construction management software like ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera P6 for documentation, tracking progress, and reporting project status.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee drywall installation quality and ensure adherence to health care facility regulations and schematics.
- Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), daily reports, and incident logs.
- Foster a collaborative environment by coordinating with project teams on scheduling, procurement, and resource management to meet deadlines efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing drywall projects within health care or similar complex construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling (Primavera P6 preferred), blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contracts management.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Primavera P6, Civil 3D or similar tools for planning and documentation purposes.
- Demonstrated ability in project management principles including time management, scope control, quality assurance, and safety compliance on construction sites.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Hands-on experience with construction site activities related to drywall installation in healthcare facilities; familiarity with health care regulations is a plus.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret schematics related to heavy civil or structural components of health care projects.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
