Electrical Test Technician – Warren, Ohio
Unitek is seeking a Full-time Electrical Test Technician to join our growing operations team in Warren, OH. This role involves hands-on testing of automotive electrical components such as connectors, terminals, splices, and fuse centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical/electronic principles and a passion for precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and perform electrical tests per customer and OEM specifications.

Prepare test samples and operate lab equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Monitor test progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.

Record and analyze test data; compile reports documenting results.

Build and maintain test fixtures and lab equipment with minimal supervision.

Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the lab.

Collaborate with senior technicians, department managers, and occasionally interact with customers.
Qualifications

Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or equivalent experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a testing-related field.

Solid understanding of electrical concepts including voltage, AC/DC, and Ohm’s Law.

Familiarity with lab instruments such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.

Team-oriented with a proactive attitude.

Must be able to work 1st Shift (7:00AM-4:00PM) and work some overtime (paid overtime 1.5x after 40 hours, double time as applicable)

This position is Full-Time, Long-Term with a starting hourly rate range of $18/Hr.-$25/Hr. and is based on years of experience and education.
