Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and design specifications
- Conduct system inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment
- Read and interpret technical schematics, HVAC design plans, and plumbing diagrams to ensure precise installation
- Perform maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, duct sealing, and system calibrations to optimize performance
- Repair or replace faulty components including refrigeration units, compressors, motors, and mechanical parts
- Use welding techniques and mechanical knowledge to assemble or modify equipment as needed
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations
Skills
- Strong construction background with experience in property maintenance or building systems (Preferred)
- Proven service technician experience with HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems or appliance repair (Preferred)
- Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately. Mechanical knowledge related to refrigeration, air conditioning, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration systems (Preferred)
- Field service experience working directly on customer sites with excellent problem-solving skills (Preferred)
- Familiarity with equipment repair including welding and mechanical adjustments (Preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC/R industry standards including refrigerant handling and safety protocols (Preferred)
- Proficiency using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues (Preferred)
- Experience with maintenance tasks involving boilers or other mechanical equipment (Preferred)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments (Preferred)
- Willing to train the right person

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
