Job Summary
The Clubhouse Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization and overall presentation of the locker rooms and clubhouse while providing attentive service to members. This position primarily focuses on men's locker room operations, including shoe care, locker upkeep, and maintaining supplies to ensure excellent member experience.
The Clubhouse Attendant also supports general clubhouse operations by maintaining clean and welcoming indoor spaces and the immediate exterior areas surrounding the clubhouse.
Job Duties
Men's Locker Room Services
- Maintain locker room cleanliness, organization and overall presentation.
· Provide shoe care services including receiving, cleaning, polishing, repairing, and returning member shoes.
· Maintain member lockers and assist with locker assignments and nameplate installation.
· Restock locker room supplies including towels, toiletries, and amenities.
· Monitor locker room inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
· Assist with towel coordination and ensure adequate towel supply throughout the day.
· Perform routine inspections of locker rooms, restrooms, and fitness locker areas to ensure they remain clean and stocked.
· Maintain a professional, welcoming presence in the locker room and assist members when needed.
Clubhouse & Housekeeping Support
· Assist housekeeping with maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the clubhouse.
· Transport linens and assist with stocking housekeeping supply areas.
· Perform spot cleaning and assist with periodic deep-cleaning projects as needed.
· Help maintain entryways, furniture, and common areas.
Exterior & Facility Support
· Maintain cleanliness of the clubhouse exterior including entrances, patios, terraces, walkways, and immediate surrounding areas.
· Sweep, blow debris, remove trash, and maintain outdoor furniture and entry mats.
· Assist with light facility upkeep such as replacing light bulbs and reporting maintenance issues.
Operational Support
- Assist the Facilities Manager with minor upkeep tasks such as replacing burned-out light bulbs and other light maintenance work. Report larger maintenance or plumbing issues to the Clubhouse Manager or Facilities Manager.
- Support other departments to ensure smooth clubhouse operations.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Expectations
- Working knowledge of locker room operations, housekeeping standards, and facility cleanliness expectations within a private club or hospitality environment.
- Ability to follow established schedules, checklists, and service frequencies (daily, weekly, monthly) with strong attention to detail.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills to balance routine responsibilities with operational needs.
- Professional demeanor and discretion while working in locker room and member areas.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, custodial services, facilities support, or locker room operations preferred but not required. Experience in a private club, hotel, resort, or hospitality setting is a plus.
- Basic familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment preferred.
- Willingness to learn club standards, procedures, and service expectations through on-the-job training.
Availability
· This position requires schedule flexibility, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on club operations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive movements as required to complete cleaning, stocking, and facility upkeep tasks.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, including furniture, laundry, and supplies.
- Ability to safely operate cleaning and maintenance equipment such as vacuums, carts, and pressure-washing equipment.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and typical facility operations environments.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
