This position includes teaching three sections of Physical Education along with one Creative Elective that allows you to bring your own interests, talents, and passions into the classroom. Whether that's art (visual and/or digital), video game design, construction, choir, or something completely unique—we're excited to build a course around the strengths of the right candidate.

What You'll Do
As a member of our teaching team, you will:
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Design hands-on, student-centered lessons that inspire learning.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
- Build positive relationships with students and families.
- Collaborate with colleagues through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), CREW, and ongoing professional development.
- Use assessment data to guide instruction and support student growth.
- Implement IEPs and 504 Plans with fidelity.
- Help create a school culture where every student feels they belong.

Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Current Washington State Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsements.

Position Details
- Position: 0.8 FTE
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m.
- School Year: 2026-2027
- Location: Innovation High School, Spokane, WA
- Several evening events throughout the year with advance notice.
