Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities while promoting their safety, independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Provide emotional support, encouragement, and companionship.
- Follow individualized care plans and help individuals achieve their personal goals.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
- Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment.
- Advocate for individual rights, choices, and independence.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation of services and care provided.
- Assist individuals with mobility and lifting needs when required.
- Provide transportation for clients to appointments, community outings, and other approved activities as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Previous caregiving or direct support experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience supporting individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures is beneficial.
- Knowledge of hospice or other care systems is a plus.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation with current vehicle insurance.
- Working telephone number.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Ability to perform lifting and assist with mobility needs.
