Responsibilities
- Supervise daily maintenance operations across the pet care facility, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Lead and coordinate on all items concerning maintenance and repair, providing guidance and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Oversee troubleshooting, repair and contract work of machinery related to facility operations.
- Need working knowledge, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general carpentry ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
- Monitor facility performance through regular inspections, utilizing tools like ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
- Collaborate on projects involving manufacturing or facility upgrades, applying project management principles to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and safety inspections to support ongoing facilities management efforts.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations, including HVAC standards, electrical codes, and animal welfare guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience.
- Experience using CMMS software for maintenance scheduling and record keeping.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters, and general mechanical repair techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a safety-first environment.
- Project management experience within manufacturing or large-scale facilities is highly desirable.

Pay: $24,960.00 - $31,200.00 per year
