Job Summary
Completing medical STATS for specimens and other medically necessary items in a timely manner.
Drivers must have or be willing to obtain the following immunizations and medical tests:
2 covid shots (1 plus a booster)
Current and annual flu shots
Current and continuing TB test
Proof of immunity to measles, mumps, rubella, and chicken pox (MMR/Varicella), which can be obtained by either receiving the immunizations, proof of prior immunization, or a blood test (titre) to test for antibodies for these viruses
A typical day would consist of picking up and delivering medical specimens, such as blood, urine, etc, pharmacy, supplies, etc. Must be flexible and dependable. Prior medical courier experience is preferred.
Drivers will also be able to do other runs with us if willing or needed. Pay is per mileage/per job.
INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR INFORMATION FOR COURIERNET
Thank you for our interest in becoming an independent contractor with Couriernet RDU.
Here is the process for contracting with Couriernet:
1) Gather the documents that will be listed below. Please make sure they are all compliant with the required limits, etc.
2) Tuesdays from 10am-3pm will be our walk in days to bring in the documents. Please make sure they are compliant and in order before coming in or you will need to come back the following Tuesday. Any copies of needed documents (driver’s license, social security card, etc) can be made here at the office when you bring the documents in.

Upon successful receipt of the documents, you will be given a contract packet to take with you to read and fill out. Once that is complete, please call me at our office or email me and we will set an appointment for you to come in and get onboard with Couriernet. That appointment will take about 1 hour, and you will be able to drive for us immediately upon completion if desired.
Here is the list of required documentation to be considered for a contract:
· Copy of driver’s license
· Copy of social security card or EIN if you have an LLC
· Copy of a motor vehicle report from the DMV or ncdot.gov. It does not have to be a certified copy.
· Current vehicle registration
· Insurance declaration page with the following mandatory amounts of insurance: $100,000 per individual/ $300,000 per accident/ $50,000 property damage. You must be listed as a driver on the policy.
· 5 panel drug test from location of your choice. Usually runs about $40. Please get a copy of your results for when you turn in your documents.
· Background check for last 10 years for entire state of North Carolina
If you are coming on as an LLC, we will also need the following:
· Copy of articles of incorporation
· Copy of tax ID (EIN)
· Verification that LLC is active in its state of origin
If you have current COVID vaccination records, please bring them as well. You do not need it to be a driver with us, but we do have some customers that require a vaccinated driver.
ALSO PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOUR FIRST SETTLEMENT CHECK WILL BE 3 FRIDAYS FROM YOUR FIRST RUN WITH US. After that it will be weekly
