The Cannabis Specialist is a key support role that bridges budtending and inventory functions while contributing to marketing and operational tasks. As a knowledgeable and enthusiastic cannabis expert, the Cannabis Specialist supports product knowledge, compliance, and customer engagement while assisting with the smooth flow of inventory and marketing activities. This dynamic role ensures accurate product handling, strong customer relationships, and efficient operational support.

Serve as a cannabis expert, offering personalized recommendations and educating customers on safe, responsible use.

Support sales initiatives and monthly deals through creative product recommendations and upselling techniques.

Ensure adherence to all state and local cannabis regulations, maintaining compliance and safety at all times.

Support accurate product receiving, unpacking, labeling, storage, and merchandising as needed or directed.

Assist with weekly reconciliation audits in pick-and-pack and the vault to maintain accurate inventory records.

Contribute to the pick-and-pack fulfillment of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Maintain organized workspaces to ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.

Assist with website QA and testing to ensure accurate product information and updates.

Support marketing material setup and install around the dispensary.

Assist with compiling customer contact information for the marketing database.

Contribute to the creation of monthly promotions and deals.

Support the development of various promotional reports, including promotion code usage and performance.

Assist with training activities for new hires on the Specialist Team, supporting onboarding and skill development.

Educate team members on best practices for customer service, product knowledge, and inventory processes.

Contribute to delivery logistics as needed to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.

Perform other duties as assigned by management to support overall store operations.
