Duties

- Incorporate technology tools and digital resources to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts such as trigonometry, statistics, and data structures.
- Provide personalized tutoring sessions to support students struggling with specific areas like chemistry, biology, or physics that relate to math applications.
- Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, tests, and assignments; offer constructive feedback to promote growth.
- Manage virtual classrooms effectively by maintaining a positive learning environment and applying classroom management techniques suitable for teenagers.
- Assist students with test preparation tutoring for standardized exams or school assessments, emphasizing problem-solving strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching math at the high school or higher education level, especially with teenagers or young adults.
- Strong knowledge of core mathematical disciplines including algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, differential equations, discrete math, and trigonometry.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for online instruction environments.
- Ability to utilize learning technology platforms effectively and adapt to new digital tools quickly.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with students and other educators.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and managing virtual classrooms confidently.
