Lexicon Real Estate Management provides a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for our tenants. We are looking to hire an HVAC Technician for one location consisting of 377 units.
Job Summary
This is a hands-on role that involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring tenant comfort and safety.
This is a full-time, hourly position working around 40 hours per week, with additional pay for approved overtime and participation in an on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair and install HVAC systems, including gas furnaces, central air and window units.
- Perform seasonal inspections and preventive maintenance
- Handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations
- Complete work orders and communicate with tenants and property managers professionally
- Assist with general maintenance tasks such as general plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
- Must be able to Climb ladders, and lift up to 100 lbs
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
- Minimum 3 Years of HVAC experience residential or multifamily settings
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and active auto insurance
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Able to meet physical demands of the role, including working outdoors in extreme conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- R-410A Safety certification
