Minimum
Qualification:
High school diploma or GED AND One year of professional level experience related to the area of assignment.
Preferred
Qualification:
Licensed Dispensing Optician(LDO), must process a valid state license.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a professional optical environment.
Experience in clinical dispensing (fitting, measuring and adjusting) or optical manufacturing (lab surfacing, finishing and quality control)
Minimum 5 years direct supervisory or management experience.
Note:
Continuous maintenance of active licensure is a mandatory condition of employment for duration of the role. Have the ability to lead teams, manage workflows, and drive operational efficiency. Advanced ability to analyze and resolve complex prescription issues, lens designs, and patient/customer adaptations. Skilled in identifying errors in the fabrication or dispensing process to minimize waste and maximize visual acuity for the end-user. Ability to provide clear direction to staff and coordinate effectively with upper management.
