Job Summary:
Lead the daily operations of the kitchen by preparing quality meals, managing food service, and supporting dietary staff—ensuring residents enjoy a positive dining experience in a clean, well-run environment.
What You’ll Do
· Prepare, cook, and bake meals for residents
· Oversee plating and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
· Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
· Plan menus following dietician guidelines and manage food ordering and inventory
· Train and supervise dietary staff in food preparation and kitchen procedures
· Provide support for dietary-related questions and resident needs
What We’re Looking For
· Experience in food preparation and cooking
· Strong customer service and communication skills
· Creativity and passion for food
· Ability to lead, train, and manage kitchen staff
· Ability to obtain ServSafe Certification (paid training provided)
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Includes evenings/weekend coverage as needed and two scheduled holidays per year
