Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of sautéed dishes with precision, consistency, and flair
- Follow established recipes and menu specifications to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation, adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting creative ideas for sautéed dishes and seasonal specials
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service
- Handle food safely during preparation, cooking, and storage processes
- Support the overall flow of the kitchen by participating in food handling, plating, and serving as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a sauté / line cook or similar culinary role within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques specific to sautéing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning and meal preparation in fine dining or high-volume settings
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Excellent cooking skills with an emphasis on flavor development and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
