The Tollway is a user-fee system – no state or federal tax dollars are used to support maintenance and operations. Operations are funded by toll and concession revenues.

In support of this vision, the Recruiter will coordinate and attend community and college career fairs/events, regularly manage/update organizational job boards, and collaborate with others to develop strategic sourcing pipeline connections.
Education (Required):

Must possess a High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate

At least one year of experience in full cycle recruiting and/or Human Resources
Education (Preferred):
-
Bachelor's degree in public relations, Marketing, Human Resources, Liberal Arts, or a related field from an accredited institution, preferred
Skills/Knowledge (Required):

Ability to work independently.

Ability to consistently safeguard the confidentiality of employee information processed by the Administration Department.

Excellent computer skills especially using the Microsoft Office Suite of products

Skilled in facilitating virtual and in-person seminar experiences in a clear and engaging manner

Active design and facilitation experience as needed for presenting to various audiences

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organizational, analytical, time-management, and decision-making qualities.

Knowledge of business writing principles and practices.

Must be available to work not only days, but nights and weekends based on schedule and operational need
Skills/Knowledge (Preferred):

Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish (read/write/speak) to connect with a wide audience of applicant pools
Physical Demands:

Required to drive/ travel to institutional campuses and community events in across the Chicagoland area.

Required to frequently sit, stand, bend, stoop and walk, sometimes for extended periods; ability to walk up and down stairs.
