Job Overview
As a Lead Metal Roofing Installer, you will be joining the internal crews, processes, repairs, and production for all of our metal jobs. This includes day to day installation of a variety of Metal Roofing Systems Including: Snap Lock, Mech Lock, Exposed Fastener, Metal Coping Cap and Trim, Snow Stop etc. On Both Residential and commercial projects. You will be working directly under the Production Manager, leading a team of 3-4 employees to complete re-roofs, and new construction projects. Currently have 1200+ SQ of metal waiting to be installed in Missoula and surrounding areas
Minimum 2 years of experience in Metal Roofing Required, applicants without experience will not be considered, please ensure your resume is up to date with experience. You will be required to submit 2 job references, or portfolio photos if available of past or current work.
Responsibilities
- Measure and prepare roofing surfaces according to project specifications using hand tools, power tools, and blueprint schematics
- Install metal roofing panels, flashing, trim, and related components with precision and attention to detail
- Install Standing Seam Metal Roofing Panels - Mechanical and Snap Lock
- Install Exposed Fastener Panels
- Use scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment to access work areas safely on various heights and structures
- Cut, shape, and fabricate metal materials on-site to fit unique architectural designs or roof contours
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment while maintaining proper safety protocols
- Seal joints and seams with caulking or sealant to ensure weather-tightness and durability
- Collaborate with team members to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate installation
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and adhering to safety standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in roofing installation or construction site work is highly REQUIRED specifically in Standing Seam Metal, Exposed Fastener Metal, fascia, trim packages, and custom bending metal (2 years)
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, Metal Break, Mechanical Seamer and fabrication techniques used in roofing project
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working at heights
- Familiarity with construction safety practices and OSHA regulations
- Additional skills such as carpentry (trim carpentry, framing), masonry, welding, plumbing, or tile laying are advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
