Job Summary

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage orders in a lively, welcoming manner
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision
- Prepare simple food items following safety and sanitation standards, including basic food preparation tasks
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including bussing tables and sanitizing workstations in accordance with food safety regulations
- Support food industry best practices by managing food handling procedures and ensuring proper sanitation protocols are followed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen tasks is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
