Bookkeeping Experience (coding, classing, and reconciling)
Payroll Experience (paper returns, amending payroll returns, producing W2s, applying for payroll numbers with the agencies)
Knowledge of 1099-NEC, 1099--Misc, etc. (preparing and/or filing)
Able to meet deadlines, work with little supervision, and can multitask
Experience with and capable of identifying client accounting discrepancies in QBO and other accounting platforms, resolving those discrepancies, and communicating effectively with clients regarding those items. Comfortable with concepts of the Income Statement and the Balance Sheet. Provide coaching to clients for QBO and accounting. Performs evaluation of GL in support of tax preparation process. Light tax prep experience a plus. Capable of managing multiple client projects simultaneously. Firm leverages latest in Workflow and AI tech.
