Job Description
This is a weekend role with a possibility of additional shifts based on business needs.
A Pot Washer is responsible for cleaning pots, pans, skillets, and cooking utensils. The Pot Washer will transport them to and from home location to cooks and will clean and mop area floors and surroundings.
Responsibilities:
- Over see all aspects of the daily opertion of their station.
- Be able to maintain and achieve standards in assigned area of kitchen.
- Work with all kitchen managers and keep them informed of F&B issues as they arise.
- Strong understanding of the workings of the pot area and responsibilities of the position.
- To perform at a high quality of production and product.
- To be a positive influence on staff,lead by example.
- Understand and practice safety,sanition and cleaniness standards in the culinary department.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry .
- Strong knowledge of health department rules and regulitions.
- Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and written,with all levels of employees.
- Attend all club -required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with our standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the club
- Comply with HCNY Club Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient club operations.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
Pay: $25.03 per hour
