About Wood Grain Junkie
Wood Grain Junkie designs and manufactures high-quality woodworking accessories — right here in-house. From precision router base plates to safety and performance upgrades, everything we make is built with the goal of helping makers work smarter, safer, and more efficiently.
We’re a family-run business that takes pride in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and continuous improvement. As we grow, we’re focused on building a team that cares about the work, supports each other, and takes ownership of what we put out into the world.
About the Role
This role sits at the center of our operation — helping turn raw material into finished product and getting it out the door.
You’ll work across production floor — running machines, prepping materials, building products and helping the fulfillment Dept meet daily orders.
We’re looking for someone who can learn our process quickly, take ownership, and step in wherever needed. Someone who notices gaps, fixes problems, and helps improve how we do things over time.
As we grow, this role will play a key part in strengthening our systems and maintaining the quality we stand behind.
What You’ll Be Doing
On the Production Floor
- Run CNC machines, table saw, and other shop equipment
- Prep materials, cut parts, and assist with product builds
- Follow our current processes — while helping improve them
- Ensure quality control is to standards
Order Fulfillment
- Assists in shipping orders accurately and efficiently
- Make sure every order going out is complete and correct
Keep Things Moving
- Float between production and fulfillment based on what’s needed
- Help bridge communication between what’s being made and what needs to ship
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on and comfortable working in a shop environment
- Able to follow direction, but also think for yourself
- Detail-oriented — you catch things others miss
- Adaptable — priorities shift, and you roll with it
- Strong work ethic — you show up ready to contribute
- Team player — no ego, no drama
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with CNC machines or woodworking tools
- Previous production, manufacturing, or fulfillment experience
Why This Role Matters
This isn’t just cutting wood or running a machine. You’re helping keep the entire operation flowing — from production to the customer’s doorstep. If something breaks down, you help fix it. If something can be better, you help improve it.
