We are hiring part-time care givers to join our team at our new facility opening in August for all shifts!
1st Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm ($21/hr)
2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm ($23/hr)
3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:00am ($22/hr)
Positions requires an every other weekend and holiday rotation.
We are dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered care for seniors with complex medical and daily living needs. We are seeking dependable, patient, and team-oriented caregivers who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in residents’ lives.
Position Summary
The Caregiver / Resident Assistant provides direct care and supervision to residents in our community. This role supports residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), behavioral support, mobility assistance, medication administration, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
Candidates should be comfortable working with residents who may have:
- Dementia or cognitive impairments
- Mobility limitations
- High personal care needs
- Catheters, ostomies, and other specialized care needs
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and feeding as needed.
- Provide safe mobility assistance, including use of gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and wheelchairs
- Administer medications per facility policy and training
- Provide catheter care, including monitoring output, maintaining cleanliness, emptying drainage bags, and reporting signs of infection or complications
- Assist with ostomy care, including emptying and changing ostomy appliances, monitoring skin integrity, and documenting concerns
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly
- Support residents with behavioral interventions and de-escalation techniques
- Complete accurate documentation and charting
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Follow individualized care plans and resident rights standards
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff, management, and healthcare providers
Qualification
- Experience in high-acuity or challenging behaviors strongly preferred
- Experience providing catheter and/or ostomy care preferred
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and professional attitude
- Must pass background check and meet state caregiver requirements
