Sander/Grinder
We are currently hiring for a sander within our fabrication operations, sanding department.
No experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidates.
Position Overview:Responsibilities vary but may include a combination of the following:
- Perform surface finishing, sanding and polishing process of metal table base components to remove rough edges, burrs, weld marks, rust or scale on raw steel
- Perform deburring process of removing sharp edges or excess material left from cutting, machining, or welding
- Use handheld grinder, belt sander, orbital sander or tube polishing machines
- Inspecting table base components to complete fabrication process
- Perform equipment maintenance such as belt removal and replacement
- Follow blueprints, job orders, or specifications to achieve the required surface finish

Job Type: Full-time - First or Second Shift
Pay: From $18.00 - $20.00per hour
