Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out
- Schedule appointments efficiently while accommodating urgent cases and client needs
- Collect payments with accuracy
- Maintain organized medical records, update patient histories, and ensure confidentiality
- Assist with medical collection procedures and manage laboratory sample processing when needed
- Support kennel operations by coordinating pet boarding, feeding, cleaning, and animal husbandry tasks
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information on services, appointments, and pet care advice
- Assist in animal restraint during examinations or treatments using proper animal handling techniques
Experience
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is highly preferred but not mandating
- Experience with dog handling is preferred
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures
- Kennel experience or background in animal husbandry enhances your ability to support daily operations
- Strong communication skills combined with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are necessary
