Care Connect NoVA is seeking compassionate, dependable companions to provide one on one support to older adults living at home or in senior living. This role is ideal for retirees, semi-retired professionals, empty nesters, veterans, teachers, healthcare professionals and others looking for meaningful flexible work.
Responsibilities include companionship, conversation, transportation, shopping, errands, light household support, and accompanying clients to appointments, community events, dining, walks, and recreational activities.
We especially welcome applicants who enjoy sharing their interests and hobbies with others. Whether you enjoy painting, music, gardening, technology, fishing, card games (especially cribbage), cooking, or life long learning, your unique experiences can help enrich the lives of our clients.
Applicants comfortable with smart phones, GPS navigation, and basic technology are encouraged to apply. Many clients appreciate companions who can help them stay connected with family, friends, and the world around them.
Most shifts range from 1-4 hours with flexible scheduling available.
Must have a valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, clear background check, clean driving record and auto insurance with minimum liabilites of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000
