CNA Transportation Aide

Located in Aurora, NE, our long-term nursing facility is dedicated to providing exceptional care and compassion to our patients. As a CNA Transportation Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transfer of our residents to and from appointments, treatments, and outings.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with transportation of residents to and from appointments, treatments, and outings, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process
- Collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate transportation schedules and ensure timely arrival at destinations
- Perform vital sign checks and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and resident care
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive work environment
Requirements:
- Currently certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Nebraska
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
