Kenwood Country Club is seeking a talented Stewarding Supervisor to join the team. Our large Food and Beverage Operations expands through the clubhouse and pool complex. The primary focus will be coordinating the overall cleanliness and organization of culinary and storage areas. Working closely with the chefs and a team of 5-7 stewards, this person will be engaged in ensuring a clean and safe workplace for all associates while providing support to all the food and beverage operations.
Job description
- The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for supporting the stewarding team to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Must have a great understanding of correct chemical usage and sanitation
- Self-driven to guide the team on daily tasks while ensuring tools and equipment are available to associates
- Assist during service to ensure rotation of pots and pan while stocking dishes, glassware and silverware.
- Will oversee 5-7 stewards
Job requirements
- Experience of 2-3 years in a similar professional environment with previous leadership role.
- Strong understanding of chemicals and food safety
- Proven ability to develop a team
- Strong passion to work with others.
- Must have flexibility in scheduling
- Must pass background check
