Spokane Valley Animal Hospital is looking for a part-time experienced dog groomer.
The candidate we are looking for will need to be knowledgeable and competent with the specific requirements of each breed. All pets will be treated compassionately and safely. This person will have a professional appearance, give friendly customer service, must be able to work independently, and work well with other professionals. Looking for a hard worker who can maintain a clean, sanitary area.
Knowledge of grooming and handling of cats is a plus.
We provide dryers, shampoo, and grooming products. We also have an adjustable work table and tub in its own grooming room with kennels.
We have one other groomer who will work in the space on the opposite days.
The days we have open for the position are Monday, Tuesday, and Saturdays. We are open from 7 am to 7 pm during the week, and 8 am to 5 pm on Saturday. You are welcome to fit in as many pets as you desire on those days and work the hours you desire on those days also.
We have hospital staff here happy to help with any lifting and holding as needed.
This position is for someone who wants to be hands-on with how they run their grooming space, schedule, and clients.
There's a computer, phone, and printer set up to use as needed.
This position is strictly based on the commission you earn. The compensation is 50% of your sales.
We will require a groom done as part of the interviewing process with your own tools.
