Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist/Independent Contractor to join our team and perform massage therapy in a variety of modalities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional client care. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of our clients through therapeutic touch, pain management, and relaxation techniques. Your schedule will be Mondays and Wednesdays. With more hours available if desired.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and tailor massage treatments accordingly.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Stay updated on anatomy knowledge and physiology to enhance treatment effectiveness and ensure client safety.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to empathize with clients' needs.
- Expertise in deep tissue and Swedish massage for effective pain management.
