Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Vestal, NY 13850
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 16 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Shift Details:
- Night Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:45 AM (5x8-hour shifts)
- 12-hour shifts may be requested
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a state-operated long-term care facility. This large facility provides comprehensive care including skilled nursing, rehabilitation services, memory care, and wound care. The patient population primarily includes individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
- Provide high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, particularly those with dementia and Alzheimer’s
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic charting systems
- Ensure adherence to all clinical and safety standards
- Active New York State RN License (required at submission)
- Clean license with no disciplinary actions
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience preferred
Candidates with recent experience in the following settings will also be considered:
- Rehabilitation
- Medical-Surgical Units
- Acute Care / Hospital Settings
- Other relevant nursing specialties
- State/Government-operated Long-Term Care facility
- Approximately 300 beds
- Specialized in Alzheimer’s & Dementia care
- Charting System: PointClickCare (PCC)
- No medication pass responsibilities
