Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas regularly to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring CPR or first aid
- Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering the premises to prevent theft or loss prevention issues
- Engage in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations with professionalism and tact
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly
- ****MUST HAVE YOUR OWN FIREARM AND BE PPSB ARMED CERTIFIED****
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles demonstrating strong situational awareness and discipline
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies
- Familiarity with conflict management practices and effective communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining high attention to detail
- Proven track record of adhering to security protocols and safety procedures
