Zachry Engineering Corp: Project Engineer – Power Projects
Position Summary
The Project Engineer-Power Projects supports the planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and execution of power generation projects. This role serves as the technical liaison between engineering disciplines, project management, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project objectives related to safety, quality, schedule, and budget are achieved.
The Project Engineer-Power Projects provides technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle and assists in coordinating engineering deliverables, resolving technical issues, and monitoring project progress.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Power Engineering, with 3–10 years of experience in power generation, energy, industrial, or infrastructure projects, experience supporting engineering and construction activities for large capital projects, and strong understanding of engineering design principles and project execution processes.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Combined Cycle, Simple Cycle, Cogeneration, Renewable Energy, or Utility Power Projects, Professional Engineer (PE) License or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, familiarity with EPC project execution.
