About the Role:
Windsor Imaging in Oakland Park, FL is looking for a skilled MRI Technologist to join our dedicated imaging team. EVERY WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY 9-5
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, performing routine quality control checks
- Screen patients for contraindications and review medical histories prior to scanning
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely image delivery
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including MRI zone restrictions and infection control procedures
Requirements:
- ARRT certification in MRI (or MRI registry eligible) required
- Florida state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start
- Experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and contraindication screening
- Excellent patient communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative imaging team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- SPANISH SPEAKING PREFERRED
- PRESENTLY USING A HITACHI OASIS; SOON TO BE SWITCHING TO SIEMENS ESPREE
