As Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for performing daily repairs and maintenance of the apartment community. The technician is responsible for overseeing the physical asset.
An ideal candidate demonstrates a strong sense of accountability and ownership, excels in time management, and provides outstanding service.
The maintenance technician will be responsible for limited on-call after hour emergencies.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to stay organized, detail oriented, and proactive. A technician is reliable, solves problems quickly, and helps keep the community running smoothly with the Property Manager.
- Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
- Prepare vacant apartments for mark-ready status, ensuring units ready for occupancy.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines and service standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, boilers, heat pumps, and other mechanical systems along with our vendors and maintenance contracts.
- Maintain community grounds, including snow removal, cleaning and maintaining grounds, including common areas to ensure an attractive environment.
- Perform limited on-call and after-hours emergency services as required.
- Able to communicate effectively with management
- Must have own tools
- HVAC certification
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily maintenance operations
Troubleshooting and repairing building systems (boilers, HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
Ensuring preventive maintenance schedules are completed
Managing service request and maintain high resident satisfaction
Coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed
Qualifications:
Proven maintenance experience in multi-family.
Strong expertise in boilers, HVAC , plumbing, and electrical systems
Independent skills
EPA certification required
