Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Qu POS, for efficient order processing.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas following food safety guidelines.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining an organized dining environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Must be able to lift at least 40 lb.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with culinary practices, food handling, and sanitation standards is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Experience using POS systems is a plus; familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
