Ethos Group is partnering with a high-performing automotive dealership to identify an experienced and results-driven Finance Director. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a proven automotive finance professional who excels at developing teams, driving profitability, ensuring compliance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all dealership finance operations, mentoring Finance Managers, maintaining lender relationships, and maximizing department performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the dealership's Finance & Insurance (F&I) department.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and motivate Finance Managers and F&I team members.
- Drive finance product penetration, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with lenders and financial institutions.
- Ensure all transactions are completed accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and lender regulations.
- Monitor deal structures, funding processes, and contract accuracy.
- Analyze department performance and implement strategies to improve results.
- Partner with dealership leadership to drive overall store profitability.
- Maintain a customer-focused environment while achieving sales and performance objectives.
Qualifications
- Previous Automotive Finance Director, Finance Manager, or F&I leadership experience required.
- Proven track record of driving finance profitability and product sales.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive lending, compliance, and dealership operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment.
- Experience with Dealertrack, RouteOne, Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, or similar dealership software preferred.
