GROW EARLY LEARNING Bl-LINGUAL DAY CARE Pre-K Counts, HSSAP
Saint Benedict Center is currently in need of a Manitence Person for our center. The maintence person will need to Assist with implementation of safety plans, including hazardous materials plan, the playground safety checklist and other safety checklists.
- Perform general cleaning of center to include sanitizing and disinfection floors, bathrooms, kitchen and fixtures. (need to have a discussion RE cleaning/, etc., they are different processes and we need all three)
- Empty, sanitize and disinfect all trash containers.
- Perform additional outside work such as lawn maintenance, landscaping and snow removal. Leaf removal in the fall and spring is also required.
- Perform general maintenance tasks as requested by supervisor.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Meet all current federal, state and local childcare employee regulations; including First Aid and CPR., leadership ability and team building skills required. Bilingual: English and Spanish or Nepalese
Education and Experience:
Preferred: GED or High School Diploma Required. Minimum of two years of related experience working in maintenance.
Skills, Knowledge and Ability: Good communication skills; ability to read written and electronic information efficiently and work under stressful conditions with multiple deadlines.
Working Conditions :Center environment; flexible work hours occasional (evening/ weekend/overtime) and may be asked to drive personal vehicle to pick-up/purchase supplies. Will be spending a lot of time outdoors. Cleaning, maintaning playground and center grounds.
Physical Requirements: Physically able to perform tasks, including but not limited to, bending, lifting and moving a minimum of 25 pounds. Be able to work with cleaning products (bleach, etc.) and sanitize daily.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Follow procedures and guidelines described in Saint Benedict Center content area manuals.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
