Responsibilities
- Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification to mitigate water damage effectively.
- Conduct fire damage cleanup, including debris removal and soot cleaning using specialized equipment.
- Execute mold remediation procedures safely and thoroughly to eliminate health hazards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and restoration tasks with precision.
- Assist in asbestos abatement projects following strict safety protocols when required.
- Support construction activities such as drywall removal and surface preparation during restoration projects.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, fire restoration, or water damage restoration is highly desirable preferably 2+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of the restoration industry standards and procedures for effective damage repair.
- Familiarity with mold remediation techniques and asbestos abatement safety practices.
- Asbestos certification ( CS / AL ) Is required for this position prior to employment.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools efficiently for various restoration tasks.
- Strong understanding of construction processes related to property repair and renovation.
- Excellent attention to detail when performing inspections, documentation, and quality control.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces. Pay: $25.17 - $30.31 per hour
