Summary
We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team in Vicksburg, MI.
This person can either be a LVT/CVT licensed, or an EXPERIENCED (OVER 5 YEARS IN A VETERINARY CLINIC) veterinary assistant. Please do not apply if you do not have a license from an accredited college OR have at least 5 years experience as a VA.

Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed
- Provide nursing care to animals recovering from surgery
- Educate pet owners on health and wellness practices
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff
- Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy
- 5 years experience with animal handling and restraint techniques
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication skills for client education
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate approach towards animal care
- Valid LVT/CVT license, or 5 years as a VA in a veterinary hospital/clinic.
